I freaking love food, from collecting cookbooks to pinning recipes it just brings me joy! This website is a way for me to share that passion with everyone. It’s not a blog, I lack the eloquence for that, plus when I’m looking for a recipe I don’t want to read all the blah blah blah I just want the recipe (hence the name)

As for the science stuff that appeals to the nerd in me, like why European butter over American?? What is the Maillard reaction?
